Attorney Amy Rasor's effectiveness as an advocate for her clients comes partly from her extensive background in civil litigation. Prior to joining our law firm, Ms. Rasor worked at the Phoenix law firm of Poli & Ball, P.L.C., where she handled a wide range of complex commercial litigation cases including bank & lender representation, bad faith insurance claims, real estate and contract litigation, construction claims and liens, and insurance defense.

Ms. Rasor also previously worked both as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Glendale and an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Arizona. At the Glendale City Attorney's office, Ms. Rasor handled civil litigation, and provided legal representation and advice to the Risk Management Department. Ms. Rasor also drafted, reviewed and negotiated city contracts, leases and other agreements.

Ms. Rasor began her career at the Office of the Attorney General in Arizona, after graduating from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. She co-authored the article Attorney-Client Privilege Alleged Criminal Activities and Investigations of City Government, which she presented at the Munincipal Lawyers Association CLE in Washington D.C. in April 2007.

Ms. Rasor attended Texas ATM University in College Station Texas and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts with a major in Anthropology and a minor in Classics.  She was an active member of Alpha Phi Fraternity and the Order of Omega Honors Fraternity.

Ms. Rasor's clients like working with her because she is trustworthy and provides thoughtful and valuable guidance.

Ms. Rasor lives in Phoenix with her husband and two sons. And in between casework and momwork, she trains for marathons, having raced both in Arizona as well as Texas.  She approaches her work in the same way she trains for marathons, with commitment, dedication, and a competitive edge.
